We are currently working on several projects for pattern recognition. Some of them require intensive computing.
You can earn money by simply running our code. The formula that gives how much you will earn is very simple:
E = F*(A-S)
where:
E is the sum of money you will earn, in Euros
F is a constant factor that depends on computational complexity of the algorithm
A is actual best score (a value that hat to be minimized)
S is the score obtained by your computer simulation
When a new, better result A is reached, all partecipants will receive last best results and A value will be updated for all partecipants, F parameter will remain unchanged.
Results on your PC are periodically saved on disk, so if you have obtained a new best result you can email us the .mat file generated by our simulation,
we will validate result and you will receive money to your PayPal account. If you do not have a PayPal account you can open a new one, it is quite simple and fast.
If you want to run our code just email us, you will receive:
- Some files with code to run (files with .p extension)
- Some files with data (files with .mat extension)
- F and A parameters
You only need to have Matlab installed on your PC. When a new, better value for A is reached, this value will be emailed to all partecipants and the previous formula will be updated. If you have more computers you can run more processes, because each process is initialized with random values.
Available Projects:
Project #1: This code requires 2 GB RAM memory. Only Matlab is required (Release 2006a or newer), no additional toolbox. Internet connection is not required during computer simulation.
